Hello! My name is Jordan Zachary. I received the wonderful opportunity to move to Greensburg in 2016 for a position with MainSource Bank. I am originally from Pendleton and gradated from Pendleton Heights High School in 2008. I am a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and three dogs. I currently work for German American Bank. My passion is assisting everyone in obtaining the American Dream of owning their very own home!

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife, Ashley and I have 4 children and 3 dogs. Three daughters: Rylee, JoJo, and Kennedy. We also had our first boy, Emrick in October of 2021. Our pups are Bronx New York Zachary, Reese Eleven Zachary, and Poncho Cooper Zachary.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have been in the banking industry since 2015. Before that, I worked in various sales roles at hhgregg and Shane Co. I love to help people of all ages obtain the AMERICAN DREAM! I am always working for YOU!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived and worked in Greensburg since May of 2016. I love it here!

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Tony Owens. When I moved to Greensburg for the MainSource position, he took me under his wings and helped me to feel comfortable in my new town. I will always appreciate and be extremely grateful for that.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to London. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and would love to explore the London area.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
All of the Harry Potter films has been and always will be my favorite. My family and I watch all of the movies every Christmas Break. My favorite tv show would have to be That 70s Show. HELLO WISCONSIN!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Don’t take life too seriously. Have fun, laugh and love! Treat everyone with respect.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Vacation with my family to Australia. Also to attend a Super Bowl. Go Colts!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Cornerstone Bakery. My youngest daughter, Kennedy loves going there. Donut Friday’s are her favorite!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to have lunch with Michael Jordan. He is my all time favorite athlete. We would go to Wings & Rings and watch and talk basketball! Go Pacers!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Tree City! Has to be the famous tree growing out of the courthouse!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Continuing to assist our community members in obtaining the AMERICAN DREAM!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I enjoy listening to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Classic song, beautiful voice.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Great Smoky Mountains

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is April. Typically a warm month but not too warm. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love decorating our house with my wife and children. Best single day on the calendar would have to be Christmas Day!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My family is my biggest inspiration. I try my best to honor them in all that I do.
