My name is Eric Lusk and I have been born and raised in Greensburg Indiana. I attended North Decatur and graduated in 2010. I had a passion for law enforcement and a lifetime goal to become a police officer. With that passion and goal in mind I attended Collage at Vincennes University and completed a degree in Conservation Law Enforcement and Homeland Security I graduated in 2014. After collage I became a Jail Officer for Decatur County Jail and shortly after accepted a Police Officer position with the Greensburg Police Department. I have now been with the Greensburg Police Department for over 5 years and am now currently a Sergeant with the Greensburg Police Department. My love and passion for law enforcement continues to grow with this community each day.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have a growing family with my wife. We are pregnant with our first baby girl expected to arrive in April 2022.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started my career after college becoming a Jail Officer here in Decatur County for about 10 months then accepted a Police Officer position with the Greensburg Police Department. What I love most about what I do is interacting with the younger generation that look up to me as a police officer. When I was younger, my family had a friend who was a Greensburg Police Officer at the time that I looked up to. That is when my passion to become a police officer started. It has now come full circle to where the younger generation is now looking up to me and growing their own passion for law enforcement.
